Making Energy Greener welcomes today’s launch of the Government’s £15 billion Warm Homes Plan – a bold and transformative step towards a more energy-efficient, affordable and sustainable future for households across the UK.

This exciting plan will benefit homes in every corner of the country.

Whether you live in a privately owned home, social housing, or a rented property, you will now have access to free or affordable upgrades to your home – including insulation, heat pumps, solar panels and more – all designed to reduce energy bills and improve comfort.

Rebecca Armstrong, Director at Making Energy Greener, said:

“This is a landmark moment for the retrofit sector and for families across the UK.

“The Warm Homes Plan shows this Government’s clear commitment to ensuring UK homes embrace new technologies that reduce our environmental impact, lower heating costs, and move us towards true energy independence.”

The plan includes fully funded upgrades for low-income households and a new offer of low and zero-interest loans for all homeowners to invest in clean energy solutions.

It also introduces new protections for renters and sets a clear path to raise the energy efficiency of all homes by 2030.

As a trusted retrofit installer, Making Energy Greener is ready to support the delivery of this plan and work with local authorities, housing providers and homeowners to bring these upgrades to life.

Making Energy Greener (MEG) is a family-run business based in Southport, leading the green future of our homes, addressing fuel poverty and reducing carbon by delivering deep retrofit and energy-efficient measures to properties across the UK.
