Southport Football Club has announced its latest new commercial partnership as LeaseCar UK joins the club’s ever-expanding list of sponsors and partners.
As part of this new partnership, LeaseCar UK has committed a significant five-figure sum to the Club to sponsor both the SFC Academy @ CTK6 and the vitally important end-of-season Haig Avenue pitch renovations.
LeaseCar provided financial assistance to the academy last season to enable the club to acquire GPS tracker vests for each player and a Veo camera which has raised post-match analysis work to a new level.
As well as continuing that deal for this coming year’s intake which will treble the academy size, LeaseCar will also now enjoy front of shirt sponsorship rights for each of the academy teams.
LeaseCar is one of the oldest, most trusted online car leasing companies in the UK having been supplying vehicles to private individuals and businesses throughout the UK for the past 25 years. Today, the Stoke-on-Trent based national business is proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading car and van leasing and contract hire companies with strong relationships with both vehicle manufacturers and major financial institutions.
LeaseCar director Bryn Jones said:
“It’s a great pleasure to be entering into this partnership with Southport Football Club. I attended many games at Haig Avenue last season, plus a few first team and academy away games too, and have been very impressed with how the club is run and, more importantly, the potential that it has to develop and grow further in the future.
“My family and I are huge football fans and are looking forward to getting behind Liam and the players on the pitch, plus Ian, Steve, Pottsy and the great team of volunteers we have off the pitch. We are proud to be able to support Southport FC on its future journey.”
Steve Dewsnip, Southport FC’s Head of Commercial and Operations said:
“This is another exciting partnership for the club and we are each very grateful for Bryn’s enthusiasm and support for what we are striving to do for the good of the club.
“Our growing academy will benefit enormously from this partnership, whereas the sponsorship of the pitch renovations will ensure that our Haig Avenue playing surface continues to be the envy of many visiting clubs and players.”
Southport FC round contractors, Greener Grounds Garden and Sports Turf Maintenance Ltd, commenced work on the pitch surface last week and regular updates on their progress, as sponsored by LeaseCar, will appear on the club’s website and social media channels.
