Visitors can enjoy a day of “fizz, food, fashion, fun (and some famous faces!) when the eagerly-awaited Ladies Day takes place at Southport Flower Show.
The full day of entertainment has become a popular fixture at the event and traditionally sells out every year.
It takes place at the Flower Show, at Victoria Park, Southport, on Friday, 18th August 2023 with tickets available via the Southport Flower Show website.
The sought-after event includes entry to the Show from 10am, entry into the Ladies Day marquee from 12.30pm, fizz on arrival at your table, a delicious three-course lunch from D’Vine Catering and an afternoon of entertainment with Adam Parker Brown and Kelly Bond. A pay bar is available.
Supported by Lancashire Life Magazine and Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, the event runs until 6.30pm.
Kelly Bond said: “No stone has been left unturned when planning for Ladies Day 2023.
“Feedback and suggestions from attendees in 2022 have been taken on board and I’m confident the new approach to the event will be welcomed and appreciated.
“Guests will be able to enjoy fantastic dining, hospitality and entertainment all wrapped up in a fabulous bouquet!
“This year’s Ladies Day programme has been planned with everyone’s desires in mind.
“We’ve kept the best bits and introduced some new features with the aim of returning it to the fundamentals of what Ladies Day is all about – fizz, food, fashion, fun – and some famous faces!
“People will love the amazing cuisine from D’vine Catering, entertainment from Adam Parker Brown and Gambolling Arena, and other surprise guests.

“We will of course still be holding the annual ‘Best Dressed Competition, exceptionally presented by Southport Flower Show royalty Claire Simmo and Paul Crone.
“This year our winner will be selected by a celebrity judge who really knows their fashion!
“Every part of the offering aims to exceed expectations from decor, menu, entertainment and more.
“This year’s Ladies Day is supported and sponsored by Lancashire Life and Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, with other corporate sponsors including Elle Sera & Tropic Skincare contributing to our gifted favours.
“We are also happy to announce that our nominated charity for Ladies Day this year is Revitalise.
“Revitalise is the leading provider of breaks and holidays for disabled people and their carers for the last 60 years, with a centre here in Southport.
“We will be raffling off some incredible prizes to raise money for this wonderful charity.”
The event has always been extremely popular, with this year no exception.

Kelly said: “Ladies Day is always a sell-out! The response for tickets so far this year has been incredible.
“We only have three tables left! Tables are based on 8-10 people, with smaller groups accommodated on shared tables.
“So if you’re on the fence, let this be the nudge you need to act fast and book now.”
The singer has been a huge fan of Southport Flower Show for many years, and is delighted to see how it has developed.
She said: “As a southport local I grew up with Southport Flower Show. It’s always been the toast of the town in my eyes, with so much to see and do!
“Last year, returning after being postponed for three years due to the Covid pandemic, the Show had to adapt to survive and I think, personally, for the better.
“The focus will always be on the floral aspect of the show, trade stands, demonstrations and educational talks – but what’s brilliant now is to see the integration of other aspects too, giving platforms to vendors and performance artists, wellness, fitness and mindfulness events within the Show.
“It’s such a versatile event, suitable for everyone and anyone.
“If you’re lucky enough to live in Southport and have this event on your doorstep you would be mad not to check it out.
“Equally, if you’re from further afield then Southport has some of the very best hotels, guest houses and B&Bs around. Come and spend the weekend with us, you won’t regret it!”
