Students at KGV Sixth Form College in Southport – the number one sixth form in Sefton – are celebrating their results today and it is fantastic to see KGV students achieve excellent grades yet again.
The college has seen a record number of applications for the new term.
The results at the College this year have seen incredible pass rates with an impressive number of students receiving the top grades and students and their families were on campus early this morning to find out their results and celebrate with their tutors and classmates.
Success was not limited to A-levels, as the students studying BTEC Advanced Level Extended Diplomas, which are equivalent to three A-Levels also received excellent results, with many students achieving the highest grades of 3 Distinction Stars.
Michelle Brabner, Principal said:
Our students have achieved excellent results today and as such many of them will be progressing onto prestigious destinations including some of the UK’s top universities, studying courses such as law, aeronautical engineering and veterinary science. Our excellent A Level & BTEC Extended Diploma results reflect the determination and hard work of KGV students and staff and the class of 2022 are a credit to the College, their families and Southport. We are so very proud of everything they have achieved here at KGV Sixth Form, and we wish them every success for their future.”
Christine Bampton, Chair of Governors, said:
“We are very proud of our students and it is wonderful to see their talents being recognised through these results. On behalf of the governing board, I’d like to congratulate all students and staff, whose hard work and commitment have produced such impressive outcomes.”
The college has seen a record number of applications for the new term, which is brilliant news for the town and students looking to start at KGV Sixth Form in September are reminded they should enrol on campus from August 25th to ensure their place.
