Work is taking place to open a brand new restaurant in the site of the former Bistrot Pierre in Southport.
The new eatery is in line to open this summer.
Its name has not yet been revealed with more details due to be released soon.
It is exciting news for one of the most prominent sites in the town centre, at 377-385 Lord Street, on the corner of Lord Street and Nevill Street.
Workers have been on site carrying out initial work in recent days while posters have gone up in the window announcing: ‘Coming Soon – Hot. Saucy. Ohh La La!’
The new restaurant is already in the process of hiring new members of staff for its team.
They are seeking servers, bartenders, supervisors, chefs, line cooks and kitchen porters.

An application has been made to Sefton Council for Premise Licence seeking permission for the venue to open between 8am and midnight seven days a week.
It comes at a time of growing investment in Southport town centre, with new businesses opening recently including VS Jewels & Workshop on Lord Street; Coffee King on Lord Street; Crust & Clay on Stanley Street; Footy Nation at Ocean Plaza Leisure; Drishti Point Yoga in Wayfarers Arcade; Crumbs & Grind Co on Market Street; Tikka Bros at Southport Market; Pink String & Sealing Wax on Union Street and more besides.
