Halliwell Jones Kia Southport is proud to be the brand-new headline sponsor of the Southport Comedy Festival 2025!
From the 3rd to 19th October 2025, this amazing comedy festival at Victoria Park in Southport will host an incredible line-up which includes Chris McCausland, Omid Djalili, Dr John Cooper Clarke, Deirdre O’Kane, and many more!
A Halliwell Jones Kia Southport spokesperson said:
“We’re delighted to be supporting this much-loved local event while introducing our brand-new Kia dealership to the Southport community.
“During the festival, pop down and visit our dedicated marquee next to the main event space, where we’ll be showcasing the latest Kia models – including the award-winning Kia EV3, recently named UK Car of the Year 2025!
“We hope to see you there!”

Southport Comedy Festival director Brendan Riley said:
“We’re delighted to be working with Halliwell Jones as our headline sponsor for the fourth year at Southport Comedy Festival.
“It is fantastic to have the ongoing support of such a prestigious local business.
“Halliwell Jones introducing Kia to their showroom on Southport Road in Southport is an exciting new development for people in the North West, adding to their existing BMW and MINI offering.
“They will be displaying one of their new Kia vehicles at Victoria Park throughout the festival, we’re looking forward to seeing it.

“While Halliwell Jones Kia is our headline sponsor, we’re honoured to have so many other local businesses as our associate sponsors for this year’s Southport Comedy Festival.”
Preparations for this year’s festival are motoring ahead nicely.
Brendan Riley said:
“We have sold out two shows already! Once tickets are gone, they’re gone. Don’t leave it too long to book if there’s someone you really want to see! Tickets are available on our website.
“We have a fantastic line-up this year, and have our final names to announce over the next few weeks.
“Every year we think ‘how can we make the festival even better’?
“It’s amazing to have Chris McCausland with us after his success on Strictly.
“We have some regulars who always sell out, such as Jason Byrne, Rich Hall and Jimeoin.
“We are very excited to have some exciting new names coming to the festival, including Ardal O’Hanlon, Omid Djalili, John Cooper Clarke, Mark Steel, Deirdre O’Kane and others.

“We always look forward to providing a platform for emerging comedy talent with our Southport New Comedian competition.
“An important part of our event is supporting the local community so we’ll be hosting ‘Bingo Nights UK Presents 80s Disco Bingo’ to raise funds for Southport Flower Show, while Comedy Bingo will raise funds for the Community Link Foundation.”
The 14th annual Southport Comedy Festival will take place from 3rd to 19th October 2025.
The entire festival will be staged for a fifth year in a giant luxury heated and seated marquee courtesy of Elite Marquees in Victoria Park, home of the world-renowned Southport Flower Show.
