The 154th Open Golf Championship has arrived in Southport, with golf lovers invited to enjoy all that the town’s Northern Quarter has to offer!

The main tournament takes place between Thursday and Sunday (16th-19th July 2026) with people able to enjoy all the action from Royal Birkdale live on the town’s double-sided big TV screens situated outside The Grand, the Lord Street Hotel and Punch Tarmey’s bar on Lord Street.

The biggest week in golf is finally here, and there’s no better place to soak up the atmosphere than right here.
