Dogs across Southport have been getting into the Christmas Spirit with our Santa Paws competition!

Dozens of people sent in lots of very cute canine photos of their pets dressed up in style.

The contest was organised by the Barklays dog friendly cafe which opened last year on Cambridge Road in Churchtown in Southport.

It was won by the adorable 12 week old Falcon, whose pictures was submitted by Nick McEntee, with the prize of a £10 Barklays voucher.

Barklays owner Lesley Morgan-Macbain said: “We look forward to seeing Falcon in the cafe for his first Barklays experience!”

Putting the ‘friendly’ firmly into the idea behind a dog friendly cafe, Barklays offers cosy spots for seating both inside and outside.
