Autism Initiatives is launching a new range of workshops for young people during 2026
Parents, young people and professionals are invited to see what’s on offer at a special open evening on Tuesday 19th May 2026.
The event takes place at We Grow in Southport where you can see how young people can learn new skills, build their confidence and self-esteem and make friends within a supported work environment.
Autism Initiatives began offering social enterprise solutions in 2010 and now runs three enterprises in the area that have supported hundreds of young people:
We Grow, a market garden and veg delivery service in Churchtown.
MeCycle, a bike shop, café and event space in Ainsdale
A Great Little Place, a thriving town centre café and kitchen.

The open evening will introduce you to the teams that work at each enterprise, learn how the business works and what opportunities they offer for young people during term time and school holidays.
Workshops and work placements typically suit young people aged between 13 – 17 years.
Spaces for the open day are limited and booking is essential.
There are two time slots available: 4.30 – 5.30pm or 6 – 7pm. There will be tea and cake!
