Alcedo Care in Southport is inviting families to enjoy its Open Day this March.
People are invited to call into the Alcedo Care office at 27-29 Hoghton Street in Southport town centre on Wednesday 27th March 2024.
Visitors will be able to take part in: crafts and games, a seated Aerobics class, meet Alcedo recruiters, learn how to keep safe online, and Memories R Made with a singing, dancing and percussion session.
There will be refreshments available for visitors including tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits.
Admission is free, just call in and say hello to the friendly Alcedo team.
The times of the events are:
9am-11am – Crafts & Games: Enjoy painting, drawing, crafting, and giant games with the team
11:15am – 12pm – Seated aerobics with Joan: For those in need of some seated gentle exercise and those with limited mobility
12pm-1pm – Meet the Recruiters: If you are interested in beginning or furthering your career in care, pop in and speak to Jess and Katie who will be on hand to answer all of your care career questions.
12.30pm-1.30pm – Staying Safe on the Internet with Leigh: Ideal for those who would like some education on staying safe while using the internet. This session will cover suspicious emails, password safety and general internet safety. Hosted by Leigh Lockwood of Creative Networks.
1.45pm-2.30pm – Memories R Made Singing, Dancing & Percussion with Caroline from Carousel Music and Movement. Freestyle encouraged to allow people to make the most of the session, their way.
