Southport artist Clare Wright will unveil her very latest artworks at the NEC Spring Fair 2026 in Birmingham this week.
One of Britain’s most original and recognisable artists, whose art adorns homes around the world, will be a huge draw at the popular annual event at the NEC from Sunday 1st February to Wednesday 4th February 2026.
Clare has sold art to celebrities including Karen Brady, Jermaine Defoe, Sir Kenny Dalglish, Jack Wilshere, Theo Paphitis, Tracy Moore MBE and many others.
Her works include the stunning 9 metre high butterfly tree featuring 1,500 individual butterflies in the Oak Theatre at Scarisbrick Hall School near Southport.
Her business is thriving through her flair for contemporary colour, texture and diverse materials, liquid glass, metals and Swarovski crystal.
All Clare’s work is created by her alone at her workshops in Southport. Each piece is individually made and signed.
She opened her first ever high street gallery, the Clare Wright Gallery, on Lord Street in Southport town centre in December 2024.
Clare said: “I am really excited to be unveiling 40 of my brand new designs at the NEC Spring Fair in Birmingham.
“It’s a huge event, held across six halls with some of the biggest names in interior design in the country, some of whom stock my artwork already. I’m intrigued to discover what they’ll all be unveiling too.
“The event attracts visitors from across the UK and Europe so it’s a brilliant opportunity to showcase what I have to offer.

“The exhibition always attracts substantial media coverage, with people eager to discover the very latest trends and styles! This is where you find out what’s new and upcoming for the year ahead.
“I attended my first Spring Fair here 22 years ago, it’s great to be involved again.
“I also enjoy exhibiting at other prestigious events such as Decorex in Chelsea, and the Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace.
“Throughout the NEC Spring Fair I will be taking lots of video and pictures and sharing them on my Clare Wright Art social media channels to give people an exclusive insight into my newest artworks, guiding them around this very eye-catching event, and showing people a look behind the scenes.
“I am effectively building my own pop-up art gallery at the NEC – similar in size to my gallery in Southport! It’s a big undertaking but it will be worth it.
“I am creating my own stand through working with a great local business, DPI, who are brilliant to work with.
“The art I am unveiling in Birmingham will then be available for people to view and to buy at my Clare Wright Gallery in Southport.”
The first ever Clare Wright Art Gallery opened in 2024 opposite The Grand on Lord Street in Southport, in the town’s stylish Northern Quarter’.
As the originator of the famous ‘liquid glass’ range, Clare continues to broaden the horizons of contemporary art with her designs.
The shop offers artwork and a bespoke picture framing service through Paul Cantrill.
Always striving to experiment with unfamiliar ideas, Clare creates beautiful, vibrant pieces of artwork using diverse materials.
Her products are distributed throughout the UK, Europe and Dubai in interior design stores, design-led boutiques, furniture stores, galleries and garden centres.
