The Little Theatre Southport is offering a unique chance to experience an early bit of panto magic later this month.
On Saturday 29th November 2025, the Hoghton Street venue will be hosting a family open day with a panto theme offering a ‘behind the scenes’ glimpse of this year’s pantomime, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
Open to everyone, both the young and young at heart, this free event will give guests a chance to look around the theatre and step on stage to experience the magic of Pantomime, as well as the opportunity to see the workings of this historic venue.
Props and costumes from past Pantos will be on display and a number of events are planned, including story time with our very own Spirit of the Beans, a colouring competition, a dress up box with photo opportunities, as well as the chance to meet the characters from this year’s production and many more surprises.
The bar will be open for refreshments and the Box Office will be open for guests to book tickets for the panto in person.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm and guests are invited to drop in at any point during these times, although please note all children must be supervised by an accompanying adult.
