The British Musical Fireworks Championship in Southport continues this Sunday (28th September 2025) with the ‘Champion of Champions’ due to be crowned at the end of tonight’s show.

Spectators will be able to see three spectacular displays by former event champions – along with the first ever drone display to be seen in Southpoort.

The event began on Saturday night, with six former winners competing rocket-to-rocket across the weekend in a relentless competition organised by the Sefton Council Tourism team.

8pm – Pyrotex Fireworks – Back to back 2010 & 2011 champions

Pyrotex is one of the few fireworks companies who represent the UK at some of the largest international pyromusical competitions. Each display is designed by their in-house design team to provide unforgettable WOW moments and in 2014 they were crowned international champion of the champions in Monaco!
