Kalash Divine Indian sponsored feature by Stand Up For Southport
Kalash Divine Indian in Southport has unveiled its much-awaited Christmas Day Menu for 2025.
The acclaimed restaurant, at 1-5 Lord Street in Southport town centre, has built an impressive reputation for authentic Indian cuisine since opening six years ago.
Increasing demand for tables saw owners Ranjeet Singh and Alvino Cardozo deciding to invest in much-needed expansion plans earlier this year with an extension into the neighbouring building to accommodate more diners.
It has also allowed Kalash Divine Indian to cater for bigger functions, parties and events.

There is now more space for families and parties looking to enjoy the famous Kalash Christmas Day experience which offers an explosion of flavour at fantastic value.
Ranjeet Singh and Alvino Cardozo said:
“We are very excited to unveil our Christmas Day menu!
“We had a lovely day last year, welcoming many of our regulars, as well as lots of new customers. It was good to see so many families.
“Christmas is a time to celebrate and spend time with friends and family.
“We can help you to spend time with each other instead of in the kitchen!
“We offer excellent value as well as delicious food that’s full of taste and flavour.”

The Kalash Christmas Day Menu is £47.95 per person for a four course menu.
Guests can savour soup, which is Pumpkin Coconut Sorba, a warming and delicately spiced Indian broth.
They can then eat all three starters, perfect for sharing with family;
- Malabari Chicken Tikka (succulent pieces of chicken marinated in a blend of Indian spices and yogurt, cooked in a clay oven to tender, juicy perfection)
- Parsi Boti Kebab (Tender lamb chunks marinated in Parsi spices, a fragrant blend of cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cloves — slow-cooked for deep, rich flavour)
- Bhutte ke Kebab (Corn and mashed potato patties seasoned with Indian spices and cheese, pan-fried to golden crisp)
Diners can then choose one main course:
- Ghansali Chicken (Pan-seared chicken breast marinated with pink pepper, aromatic spices, served with the iconic peach curry from Ghansali, North of India
- Salli Boti (Boneless lamb slow-cooked in a sweet, sour, and spicy tomato-based gravy, topped with crispy potato straws)
- Paneer Pasanda (Soft paneer slices filled with a sweet and spicy stuffing, simmered in a delicately spiced, creamy sauce.
They come served with two delicious sides: Motui Pilau (Fragrant basmati rice cooked with tender black chickpeas, raisins, and pearl onions, offering a subtly sweet and aromatic taste) and Saffron Naan (Saffron flavoured puffy, leavened refined flour bread.
To end the meal in style, the dessert will be Jalebi with Rabri (Crispy, golden jalebi spirals served with creamy, chilled rabri — a perfect balance of warm and cold, sweet and rich)

Ranjeet Singh and Alvino Cardozo said:
“This year we have really elevated our Christmas Day Menu.
“We have a variety of regional favourites there from all corners of India.
“We have been working hard with our chefs to create a menu which we think is very special.
“Christmas Day at Kalash has always been very popular so early booking is advised!
“Last year on Christmas Day we opened between 12pm and 4pm but this year we will expand that to be open between 12pm and 6pm.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone.”

The expansion of Kalash Divine Indian has been a great success.
Ranjeet Singh and Alvino Cardozo said:
“We completed the expansion due to growing demand from diners.
“Previously we sometimes had to turn away some customers, particularly during weekends, as we got busier and busier.
“We wanted to be able to accommodate as many people as possible and were delighted to be able to expand our restaurant into the former Boulevard West premises next door.
“We previously operated with 60 covers and the extension has enabled us to increase that to between 90 to 100 covers.
“We can now host more events such as parties, functions, corporate events, Christmas celebrations and more, in greater numbers, to meet the requests that we receive all the time.
“If anyone would like more details, please get in touch.”
