The L20 Hotel School Catering & Hospitality, Floral Design and Travel learners along with the Get Contributing Team from Hugh Baird College in Bootle will be hosting a Danceathon event for Elsie’s Story.

They said: “We’re reaching out to all dance lovers or those who just want to spread some joy, to take part in our…‘1,000,000 Seconds Of Dance’ for Elsie fundraising Danceathon.

“Elsie is one of the beautiful angels from the Southport tragedy and her parents David and Jenni have set up a charitable trust in her name called Elsie’s Story to continue Elsie’s caring ways and are supporting Bebe’s Hive also.

“The event is on Saturday 21st June 2025 at High Baird College in Bootle from 9.30am.

“Elsie and the girls were all united in dance so we would love to have a day where we all dance together, to bring awareness of the trust

“Our aim is to get as many people dancing across the day for as little or as long as they can and adding it all up to a ‘Million Seconds’ of dance.

“If you would like to get sponsored or give a donation to help raise funds or if you can just be present and enjoy the day, we would love it if we could get you involved. You can join us to dance through the day or put on a dance display for an hour or so if you are involved in a dance school/group or just have some fun and a boogie with all your friends.”
