Basement Jaxx are coming to the Seaside Weekender in Southport this summer!
They will be entertaining the crowds at Victoria Park in Southport on Saturday, 11th June, as part of the Save The Rave Festival.
Sunday, 12th June will see the Lookalike Tribute Festival taking place, with tributes to acts including The Beatles, Queen, David Bowie, Oasis, Abba and Fleetwood Mac.
Southport Flower Show and Victoria Park Events General manager Alan Adams said: “Just announced – the amazing Basement Jaxx will be appearing in our park at the Save The Rave Festival on Saturday 11tn June. Can’t wait.
“Sunday’s Lookalike Festival will be just as good. What a weekend to look forward to.”
Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. They first rose to popularity in the underground house scene of the mid-1990s, but would go on to find international chart success and win Best Dance Act at both the 2002 and 2004 BRIT Awards.
They are looking forward to taking crowds back to the 90s and 00s when the Save The Rave Festival takes place at Victoria Park in Southport as part of this year’s two-day Seaside Weekender.
