Owners of a stylish Italian restaurant in Southport have upgraded its outdoor terrace.
The beautiful new space will ensure that diners can sit and eat in comfort at Trattoria 51, on the Promenade,. with Covid safety in mind.
Trattoria 51 has been an integral part of the local restaurant scene for over two decades. The restaurant has a superb reputation and produces each dish using only the freshest ingredients to deliver the authentic Italian flavour and taste which has made it extremely popular with Southport residents.
A Trattoria 51 spokesperson said: “No-one is under any illusion that restaurant dining has become problematic under the Covid Tier 2 rules and Trattoria 51 has taken every possible precaution to ensure the safety of its guests and staff.
“The restaurant possesses the largest covered terrace area (40+ covers) of any restaurant in Southport and owner Attilio Sergi and his staff have worked incredibly hard over the last few months to improve and upgrade the terrace facility so that patrons can enjoy their dining experience in a comfortable, safe environment.
“This terrace allows groups of up to six family and friends to legally and safely meet up and enjoy a substantial meal and alcoholic drink and is one of the few venues to be able to genuinely offer this service in the region.
“Attilio and his team have already received a substantial number of bookings for both the terrace and restaurant for the festive period, including Christmas Day.”
Trattoria 51 is a group of three Italian restaurants; two situated in Liverpool city centre and the one on the seafront promenade in Southport; totalling over 300 covers. The restaurants are modern and stylish, two of which offer Alfresco dining arrangements.
Owners Attilio Sergi and Toni Karemanaj both originate from the Mediterranean coastal region and each boasts decades of industry experience. The restaurant’s menu includes many Italian classics and daily specials, these are all prepared daily inhouse using only the finest ingredients. The menus cater for Vegetarians, Vegans with almost all items are available Gluten Free.
The restaurant is offering a Christmas menu, a la carte option and delivery service.
